I know it been a minute since I share anything in here but you know our life can get so challenged and busy we sometime lost the file and do not know where we going, but thats also the part of life we need to understand ourself and appreciate life. I will make another post to share more detail about those moment of my life. The year is getting to the end I can said that it been challenging one but also one of the best year of my life , looking at it I can only thank the GOD and smile for all he has done for me and what I have learn.

NEW YEAR EVE is the time we get to be extra for party whether you get yourself a perfect date, a family celebration or girls night out,  you are allowed to wear all the glitter, faux fur extra heal and make up to shine for your holiday party. 

Here I will share my top 3 outfits for new year eve, all these piece are from HM  , Monoprix and ZARA  last year December holiday collection sale which is the smartest moment to buy event outfits for the following year for mommy on budget.

THE FACE MASK AND SCRUB THAT GIVE YOU GLOW AT FIRST USE

The best skin care product come from our kitchen, we have everything we need from scrub to face mask everything is already in front of our eyes , we just have to know what to use for what. here are tree ingredients that I love to use on my skin  care regimen to exfoliate hydrate and lighten dark spot. they are natural ingredients and you do not have to worry about artificial ingredients which could be harsh for your skin.  for this remedy we will be using:

Lemon  is a natural bleach and skin-lightening agent due to its acidic properties. It slowly removes the darkened skin cells and evens out the skin tone of the area, eventually fading the age spots. Lemon, is a natural source of vitamin C and a natural astringent, helps lighten age spot balance the skin tone, tighten skin pores and brighten your complexion.

Sugar  with glycolic acid, acts as a natural exfoliant to even out your skin tone, clear up pores and remove dead and dull skin cells.

Honey  a natural humectant, helps lock water into the skin, thus keeping it moisturized and hydrated. Moreover, honey contains antibacterial and antioxidant properties that help clear up your skin and treat breakup

Measurement


2 tea spoon of raw organic honey 
2 tea spoon of granulated brown sugar or regular sugar 
1 tea spoon of lemon or lime no preference I used lime 

Mix them all together to the consistency on the picture and put it on your face and gently massage it all over it for 2 minutes  and also on your neck.   

Let it seat on you face as mask for 10 minutes to absorb all the nutrient of the mixture, then wash it off with warm Luke water. I do this twice a month.

My face after I clean it with nothing on it.  its feel soft and brighten.  let me know if you try this mask and share with me your favourite home made scrub and mask.

Spring is here and summer will come without an eye blink, outfit will get more fun an colorful. The tassel earring are great accessories to bring your outfit to another level. I have been obsessed by them this year, but they have been around for about year I think. I bought my first one at HM but this spring they are every where. I kind go ham on them 

Spring my favorite saison of the year, because the weather is just right not to cool or to hot, we can start wearing light jacket and colorful accessories. This year my go to accessories are tassels earrings, they have change the way I see accessories, give this elegance and chic to my look. Here I share the one that I I have been enjoying and made such a great statement to my outfit.

MY AFFORDABLE FAVORITE MOISTURIZER

Today I’m going to  share with you guys my favorites moisturizer, I have been using these products for years and really works on my skin. Moisturizer is the last step of your skin care but very important because it’s complete all the other steps.

Our skin need hydratation to show his glow, but to get  a good moisturizer for africain skin can be very challenging. Here Are my favorite one at this moment. As an African woman finding the right moisturizer is alway a struggle. Product on the the market are not always customize for women of color. Most of my friends fear to try unknown brand because they assume it will not work for them and it is not for woman’s of color, I understand where they came from because I have been there to. I also think that we have a wrong idea about skin care for woman of color but that’s another topic. In fact we need to read and teach ourselves about our body’s and how to care for it instead of buying the wrong product that could damage our skin. Time has thought me that, so since I’m obsessed with skin care product I have been trying some of them on the  market and have found the one that work for me. 

L’Oréal Aloe water 

Aloe Vera is a skin care must have, every woman should own an aloe Vera moisturizer because of the healing action that it gives to your skin and the hydration. My favorite one right now is hydra genius aloe water from l’Oreal Aleo water it is my first aloe Vera  moisturizer and I can assure you ladie it works. Since I started using it my skin is softer and hydrated. The texture is very light and watery and also absorb very quickly. My other favorite part is that it is affordable.

Pond’S

I can not leave without my correcting cream from pond’s it helps with dark spot sun burn and evens skin tone, in 2 week you will start seing result if use consistently morning and night. Reduce the appearance of dark spots in 4 weeks. The texture is creamy but oily. I have been using it for years and alway gives my skin a beautiful result, use it after cleaning over my face and neck, you can get it using the link Pond’S

Yve Rochet Sebo Végétal 

My first time using a zero blemish gel cream from Yves Rocher but I wish I knew her befor. I refused to try yve rochet product because I label her to not be appropriate for my type of skin which was true until I try this bad girl. My new best friend, she is my best skin care buy this month.It’s perfectly moisturize throughout the day , skin is beautiful tightened and complexion is visibly even and bey bey blemish. Use it morning and night 

Cien Med

Cien Med for face   is a Cold winter cream for dry or  very  dry and sensitive skin. It is a saisonal product I think they should have it all year because it gives such a good moisture and soften your skin. The exciting part is the price it cost me less than 2 euro but definitely do the job.

Garnier Bio Active 

Garnier Bio Active Is also one of my aloe Vera moisturizer, the testure very light, take time to absorb but worth it . It is a protective care, the texture is very watery, can be use morning and night. I really enjoy her too .

These product are really good and have help improve my skin care through the years. I switch beetween them and also use them together. I love using L’Oréal aloe water and Yve Roches sebo végétal. The key is consistency and do not be afraid to try product on the market just know your skin type. I just want to take this time to wish all my follower a happy new year 2018. I wish you all to achieve all the goal you have set for yourself this year with heath, love, joy, and wealth. To me 2017 has been a year to learn embrace myself, appreciating the moment, facing fear, also some challenging days, happy moments, sad days, but most importantly a growing years and i' m glad to have you guys to share my journey with you. it was not easy but I'm moving forward with more confidence for the coming years and determination to be the better version of myself.

I hope you guys are all doing great and had a great holidays celebration. It's being a while I know, the end of a year was very busy for me I'm sure for you guys too, with kids, holiday, Christmas activities new year eve celebration house holds shores, the list will go on and on, but thank God every thing work great. Now school has started, I'm trying to be more consistent with my blogging and all the thing I'm working on and will be sharing with you all throughout the year.
